Pfizer, Are You Killing My Mother?
An Open Letter To Albert Bourla, Chief Executive Officer, Pfizer
Albert,
I’m writing today because I believe you are killing my mother. You’ve also made it impossible for me to save her from your drugs.
She is ninety-seven years old, lives on her own, still plays golf and bridge, and has a love of life. My mom has a positive attitude, maintains a healthy diet, and takes supplements. Although some of her friends had COVID, she remained healthy through waves of viral variants.
I know that my mother continues to believe the mainstream news media’s repetition of your pronouncements. She still assumes your vaccine was safe and effective and took your first shot as soon as she could, and gets all of your boosters.
My mother had initially given me a very hard time because I didn’t want to take your vaccine. I understand the social pressure she was under, but I blame you and your collaborators in government and media for inciting and fueling a divisive climate.
You all are responsible for the most animosity my mother has ever shown me.
She was a first-grade teacher for many years and still knows how to find calm in a storm. After some painful conversations, we agreed to disagree about your vaccine because our love is stronger than your rhetoric. I’m fortunate; I know some families remain broken because of how intensely you promoted your product. But vaccination remains a subject my mother and I can’t discuss.
I hold you accountable for my inability to help her understand that she has misplaced her trust.
On New Year’s Day, we talked via Skype. My mom had some cold symptoms and took two home tests that showed she had COVID. I couldn’t ask and certainly didn’t want to agitate her — but I wondered how she processed testing positive after receiving your vaccine so many times during the last few years.
It’s now clear that your vaccine is much more likely the cause of her illness rather than having prevented her from contracting the virus. You know it doesn’t stop transmission, and she has become more susceptible to new variants of the virus that have been engendered — by your out-of-control vaccination program.
I couldn’t help recalling your company’s fabrications. First, you said they were effective — but your vaccine is clearly not working if it doesn’t stop transmission. Then you claimed it prevented hospitalization and death, although it has been revealed that this is something you just made up.
Your vaccine has nothing to do with why my mom didn’t get COVID previously — she was just healthy — and now her compromised immune system is dealing with the infection.
My mom revealed her plan the next day, saying, I’m going to my doctor tomorrow and if a test re-confirms I have COVID, she will write me a prescription for PAXLOVID.
I knew better than to show my alarm, so I enquired casually if it was really necessary to go to the doctor’s office while not feeling well. I added that it may not be required to take a powerful drug when symptoms were likely to improve over a few days. She unequivocally trusts her doctor and will take anything recommended or prescribed.
She replied to my concern with, I’ll do whatever my doctor says — and added that PAXLOVID would make sure she didn’t get any worse. I realized there was nothing I could say that would change her mind.
I just spoke with her today and she said even though she felt a little better, that she had tested positive for COVID and is starting to take your drug.
And I thought, how convenient, my mom is taking another Pfizer product pushed on her — even with only having cold symptoms for a couple of days — to supposedly make up for what your vaccines don’t do. This blatant ruse to sell more drugs may fool people under your spell, but your con game is obvious to those of us who recognize your company’s immorality.
Sadly, I couldn’t express myself or warn her because of all of your blatant lies over the last few years.
Although I can’t and won’t try to stop her, for the record, I’ve listed all of the reasons she should not be taking PAXLOVID — along with some questions for you;
PAXLOVID can cause serious side effects, and even death for people like my mom, particularly because reactions are unknown. This drug cocktail has more adverse interactions than most, with both prescriptions and over-the-counter medicines. Albert, can you vouch for your drug’s safety? Would you let your mother take it if she had the same symptoms as my mom?
PAXLOVID can damage the liver and kidneys. The two-drug regimen limits the body’s natural ability to rid itself of drugs, contaminants, and toxins. Albert, isn’t this particularly risky for the elderly?
The limited clinical study that allowed you to get the Emergency Use Authorization for repurposing a toxic HIV drug, claimed an 89% reduction in hospitalization and death after taking PAXLOVID. This figure was calculated using the relative risk; the improvement in absolute risk is closer to 6% which is insignificant considering the small clinical trial. So this very optimistic reading is a gross exaggeration. Albert, are you still supporting the findings of the benefits of your drug?
The study you relied on to promote PAXLOVID only tested your drug on unvaccinated patients who had COVID. This very strange decision raises ethical and legal questions as a large percentage of vaccinated people who take PAXLOVID are having so-called rebound cases of COVID. Albert, isn’t this response from the mutations enabled by your drug?
It would be appropriate for a drug like PAXLOVID with dangerous effects and interactions — and very questionable value — to have more thorough testing and multiple trials. You knew over six months ago the risks from PAXLOVID clearly outweigh the benefits — and that the latest variants of COVID are proving to be less dangerous. My mother was already starting to feel better and now could have a rebound case of COVID. Albert, why is my mother taking PAXLOVID?
You have already brought unnecessary misery to millions of lives, including mine. If you had really considered all of the dangers of your vaccine and your PAXLOVID — or cared about the damage you’ve caused — you would have already pulled them from the market.
Albert, now you understand why I believe that you are killing my mother — and I hold you accountable.
David
This is my story in a nutshell, although my mom is only 93! Thank you for putting into words the anger towards the unbelievable lies and the incredible frustration and feelings of impotence I also experience trying to awaken my mother. Although she has not yet tested for Covid, she has done all the boosters and also follows her doctor with complete trust. Like you and your mom, we have had the only contentious conversation in memory about the vaccines, especially when she admonished me for reading RFK jrs. Book on Fauci. We have also since agreed to disagree, but it is a delicate balance knowing how much she has compromised her health and knowing when or whether it is worth trying to bring up the newest evidence. It is not made easier by the fact that my siblings have followed the dogma and inoculated all their kids. I guess Mark Twain understood this dilemma when he said it was easier to fool someone than to convince them they have been fooled, but it helps to know I am not alone in this painful reality. Thank you for your eloquent letter, I’d sign it in a minute!
I feel for you, David. I cared many years for my elderly mom, the last three years live-in 24/7. She passed at 99, from dementia and other complications. She started to go downhill at 96, when medication errors incapacitated her. She died during pandemic lockdown and was unable to have a funeral or family-attended burial. All because of Big Pharma fraud and lies.
