Thank you for an excellent commentary. I've come to the conclusion 'Inverted Totalitarianism' is most accurate description for our current situation:

"Inverted totalitarianism is a system where economic powers like corporations exert subtle but substantial power over a system that superficially seems democratic. Over time, this theory predicts a sense of powerlessness and political apathy, continuing a slide away from political egalitarianism."

So what is objectionable about fascism? If it delivered what Mussolini promised, it would be an efficient social organization. But of course it did not. Like all tyrannies, where the people subject to the political power have no right of objection or influence not sanctioned by the powerful, it quickly devolves into the instrument for the powerful to live out their deranged psychodrama of domination over others. The US Constitution was designed very self consciously to avoid this state of affairs, but then they were dealing with a tyranny exhibiting itself with quasi religious monarchical legitimization. Hitler, the Reds, and the rest of the long line of human despotism, Sultans, Khanates, etc., Are disfavored because no man, or group of (wo)men, can ever be trusted not to become corrupt and self serving. All tyrants, in all ages of humanity's sad history, will always and everywhere deploy their power to instrumentalize the lives of those they hold subject to violence. Our current crop of would be demigods are surely the worst ever. In cruelty, in stupidity, in delusions of grandeur. They are currently in power via corruption, violence, and lies. Their brutality, as they often chant, is limitless and justified in their deranged minds by their childish visions of control.

And keep in mind we got here because of their waste of wealth and vanity and vice. Do we assume then they will reform if we cannot overcome them? This would be folly.

Thank you, this is a clearly written exposition on fascism. Benito Mussolini famously defined fascism as the product of government plus corporate tyranny.

Anthony Fauci took totalitarianism to an even more menacing extent with the addition of medical tyranny. The combination of government plus corporate plus medical tyranny might rightly be called “Faucism.”
